Bit of a tall order.

About 2/3 years ago, I read a review complete with screenshots in one of
the popular games/pc magazines. As I recall, play took place on an
semi-isometric grid that looked a bit like marble madness in places,
scrolling as you went.

The player controlled a small tank, and it looked as if there were other
tanks, defences and obstacles to overcome. Quite stylish, slightly "Tron"y
graphics, and it looked as if it would be decent retro fun.

So:

a) Does anyone have any idea what the game may have been?

b) Was it ever released, and could I get hold of it?

TIA

Just to add, it isn't Tanktics.

The nearest I can get to the look of the games is:

but as I say, the graphics, although simple any stylised where very nicely
done. ISTR that the main tank was quite small and that visibility on the
terrain played a part.

Not turn-based, but arcade(y)
